Clubs are a great way to express your passions, spend time with your friends, and meet new members who will become friends! Social Clubs are open to all Lebanon CC members. However, the rules, schedules, and events for these clubs are all organized by the members themselves. LCC facilitates club meetings with space to assemble, and provides food & drinks during normal dining hours.

Book Club
The Book Club is a self-organized group of readers who together select the month’s book to read. At the end of the period, the members discuss the book, the theme, the characters, and impressions. The Book Club is open to all LCC Members and meetings are generally held one evening per month. Many members have a dinner together with their ‘book friends’ as part of their evening.
To join the Book Club and be part of this fun, informal group, please contact Lynn Williams (TBD) at LCCBookClub@gmail.com for more information.

Backyard Club
The Backyard Club is open to all LCC members and their guests. Programs start at 7:00pm on the third Wednesday of each month, unless noted otherwise.
The Backyard Club provides members with education, resources, and social opportunities to advance the knowledge and love of nature. The club also promotes the restoration, improvement, and protection of our environment through programs and actions related to plants, birds, gardening, and conservation. In just a few months we’ve grown the events to 30+ attendees.
Past events include: What’s in Your Backyard?, Owls of Central PA, Backyard Beekeeping, and Natural Wonders of LCC. Plans for future events include: Sip N’Paint Bird Feeders for LCC grounds, Hummingbirds, Herbs, Bluebirds, Impact of Chemicals on Lawns & Flowers, Rain Gardens, and more.
Join us for a future meeting, and to be a part of the excitement! Please contact Sue Hess at backyardclublcc@gmail.com with questions and/or to work with us in planning and executing events.

Other Clubs?
Bridge Club? Chess Club? Texas Hold’em Club? Traveling Golfers Club? Quilting?
LCC is excited to facilitate the beginning of other clubs, as well as provide a central area for you club to meet, have drinks and enjoy meals. The use of the projector/conference room might be required. The club staff is not available as a resource to the clubs, as these clubs are self-determining and self-scheduling among members.
If there is a club that you would like to see organized, please express an interest through ndefazio@lebcc.com, who will aggregate those responses and see if there are similar interests. If you want to be the organizer of a potential club, you can get started immediately by advertising for interest in the monthly newsletter through ndefazio@lebcc.com, as well. See if other members might share your passion!
